Recreating Hope:The Cultural Production Picture of Rural Students with Low Academic Achievement
Based on the theoretical perspective of cultural toolkit,this article tries to explain the group cultural production picture of rural students with low academic achievement.According to the findings,the juveniles would situationally recreate the dual hopes of study and life:in school system space,they maintain class unity with"Yi",and actively reject"Hun"at critical moments;in family daily space,they adopt emotional regurgitation-feeding to practice the principle of"Xiao",experience and participate in the operation process of family economy in advance,and obtain empirical understanding of"Li".For these juveniles,recreating hope is a positive adjustment in combination with their own situation and goals,which has walked out of the theoretical vortex of"self-bound"cultural production,and also provides new empirical facts for understanding this group's educational attainment.
