Journalism has a strong practical tradition.With the deepening of discipline institutionalization and the influx of more diversified research perspectives,the connotation of"practice"has experienced a transformation from the narrow sense to the broad sense.As an important concept in the history of Journalism,"practice"discourse has multiple meanings:as a research object,as a theory and method,as a research principle.In fact,the"practice turn"of journalism is a turn at the level of research principles and theoretical methods,rather than a turn at the level of research objects.Chinese journalism scholars should adhere to the organic unity of practice principles,practice objects and practice theories,and face the vivid Chinese practice,so as to promote the innovation and development of the theoretical system of Chinese journalism.
