Statistical Analysis and Translation-communication Strategies of the Linguistic Projects in Chinese Academic Translation
Chinese Academic Translation undertakes the mission of making China's voice heard.It has become a high-profile project of national level under the combined impact of worldwide changes unseen in a century as well as the global turmoil.This pro-ject,however,has been currently under-researched from an overall perspective,most notably the empirical analysis of specific fields of disciplines.This study,based on the information of approved projects from 2010 to 2022,the results indicate that present linguistic pro-jects concentrate on the study of Chinese language and feature unbalanced arrangements,limited recommended topics,as well as inade-quate oversea dissemination.Therefore,it is recommended that with the aim for long-term development of these projects,a linkage mechanism for Chinese Academic Translation should be put in place among the writing,publication,translation and oversea dissemina-tion of linguistic projects,and that researchers should expand the scope of their topic selection,and achieve active project proposal as well as balanced arrangements,thus ensuring an efficient implementation of Chinese Academic Translation in a multi-dimensional and multi-channel way,which will provide significant references for the decision-makers and applicants of these projects.
