The nation is a concept and entity with the characteristics of political community,In the hundred years of anti-colonial struggle in modern China,the national consciousness and the national community consciousness of the ethnic minorities in China have been awakening day by day.The identification of the Chinese national community is roughly manifested in three stages:territorial con-sciousness,"nation-state"and the characteristics of the common destiny of mankind.These three stages of identity evolution not only show that the sense of community of the Chinese nation has a profound identity foundation among the ethnic minorities,but also strengthen the fact that the Chinese nation and New China are pluralistic unity composed of multi-ethnic groups.Poetry is the most im-portant and commonly used emotional expression of ethnic minorities,which truly reflects their understanding and identification of the political national community and the Chinese national community in modern times.Taking minority poetry as the center to study the i-dentity and evolution of the Chinese national community in modern times is conducive to a deep understanding of the concept of the Chi-nese national community.
