The New Development of Grammar Theory of Zhang Zhupo in Ming and Qing Novels
The grammar theory of popular novels in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties was constructed and developed in the hands of Jin Shengtan,Mao Zonggang and his son,Zhang Zhupo,and others.On the basis of Jin Shengtan,Zhang Zhupo developed the theory of novel grammar,deconstructing the grammar of The Golden Lotus from the perspective of creative theory,restoring the au-thor's ideas,emphasizing the beauty of the dynamic response of grammar in the plot progression of the novel,and revealing the com-posite single line and even preliminary network narrative structure of The Golden Lotus,which is his contribution to the construction of novel grammar theory.Zhang Zhupo's construction of grammar theory promoted the creation and criticism of popular novels in the Qing Dynasty,giving birth to the brilliant pearl of the network narrative structure of ADream of Red Mansions.
