Investigation of Caixi Township is the basis for Mao Zedong's effectively refuting the"Left"ideology and bureaucracy within the party through correct investigation,and contains valuable experience for lower level Soviet workers to closely connect with the masses and build grassroots political power.Through this survey,Mao Zedong deeply recognized the importance and priority of rural work,proposed a modernization strategy based on rural areas,and advocated promoting the work of Caixi Township and the Soviet U-nion to the entire Soviet region.Studying history is to solve today's problems.Reviewing Investigation of Caixi Township,we learn from the valuable experience of the township Soviet work,adhere to the style of vigorous investigation and research to understand the actual situation,dialectically handle the relationship between war and construction,consolidate the construction of grass-roots political power to promote political modernization,carry out cultural and educational campaigns to promote cultural modernization,and thus pro-mote the new practice of Chinese path to modernization.
