Research on Ecotourism Helping Regional Economic Development
Ecotourism development needs to be rooted in the system of regional economic development in order to play the former's supporting function.On the basis of the review of the current research,the challenges that eco-tourism is facing in promoting regional economic development are the distortion of market operation mechanism,the anomy of administrative management,the stallage of trans-portation,and the weakness of the dynamic mechanism of brand identity.Further,the paper puts forward the following ways to help eco-tourism development:formulating medium and long-term planning for regional ecotourism development,guiding the supply of factors in-side and outside the region with market mechanism,standardizing government economic behaviors and strengthening inter-industry col-laboration,building regional road network pattern based on value chain perspective,and creating regional business culture with ecotour-ism brand.
