The Imagination of Human-Machine Community in Klara and The Sun from the Perspective of Recognition Theory
Honneth's Recognition Theory expounds the modernity crisis of various communities from the perspective of human in-ter-subjectivity.However,with the development of artificial intelligence technology,a new community--human-machine community gradually begins to form.By examining the human-machine community model of Clara and Josie's family in Klara and The Sun from the two recognition forms of love and unity in the recognition theory,it is found that although Clara,a robot, does not have the same psy-chological basis of self-recognition and empathy as humans, she has the same action goal as Josie's mother--to help Josie get rid of loneliness and recover.Under the guidance of this goal,Josie's mother,Josie, and Clara assume different rights and obligations in their respective social roles, thus slowly recognize each other as they work together for Josie's recovery.
