Academic reading ability is an important part of college student'comprehensive literacy.From the perspective of col-lege student'academic reading,most students do not have a clear understanding of academic reading and are still in the stage of ordina-ry reading.Due to the lack of guidance for academic reading courses,the intrinsic motivation of academic reading is insufficient.Univer-sities need to create a culture of academic reading and cultivate academic reading awareness;to set up academic reading courses and strengthen academic reading instruction;to improve the evaluation of academic reading and guide students to actively participate,as to provide support for the improvement of college students'academic reading ability.
