With the rapid development of social economy and the continuous expansion of urban scale,the value of river corridors as important ecological infrastructure and landscape resources in cities is receiving increasing attention from the people.Therefore,how to use river corridors to closely integrate urban development with the natural ecological environment,while meeting the needs of the people for the landscape environment,is a important issue that needs to be considered in current urban river design and planning.Sponge city theory,landscape ecology,harmonious coexistence between man and nature and sustainable development strategy together constitute the theoretical basis of urban river corridor landscape design.The design principle of urban river corridor landscape is to make urban river corridor landscape have multiple functions,aesthetic continuity,and diverse biology.Based on this,this article starts from three perspectives:ecological protection,cultural restoration,combining domestic and foreign practical cases to explore urban riv-er corridor landscape design issue.
