On the"LuXun Factor"in Xie Jin's"Reflection"Film Works
When choosing the subject matters of adaptation script of film,Xie Jin consciously chose the works with the theme of"reflective literature"which had internal communication with Lu Xun's literary spirit.In the editing and directing process,he also consciously highlighted and strengthened the character plot and ideological theme related to Lu Xun.The"Lu Xun factor"in his works reflected in the following three points:the humanitarian care for the fate of the humble person like the wife of Xiang Lin,the resurrec-tion of revolutionary ghost of A Q,the reappearance of Lu Xun's theme of"transforming national character."It could be seen that Xie Jin,like Lu Xun,was a humanist who adhered to the"weak departmentalism"and an enlightener who advocated"transforming the na-tional character"and cherishing the ideal of"building people".
