From Native Writing to the Imagination of the Other:Cities and Countryside in Contemporary Northeast Literature
As a marginal corner of the market economy,Northeast China has become the spatial object of regional writing in con-temporary literature with its highly complex characteristic culture,forming a literary field different from Beijing,Shanghai,Hong Kong and other central cities.The group of local Northeast writers represented by the"Three Musketeers of Tiexi",Chi Zijian and others nar-rate from the main experience,which is clearly different from the Northeast writing of Mei Yingdong,a journalist in China from an extra-territorial perspective.The local and foreign perspectives complement each other,presenting the collective memory of urban and rural areas in Northeast China in all aspects and elements,while the hidden expression differences in the eyes of self and others provide new interpretive perspectives and theoretical perspectives for the creation of regional literature.
