The role building and spiritual externalization of Japanese animation Evangelion
Evangelion, written and directed by Japanese animation director AnnoHideaki,is considered to have triggered the third wave of animation in Japan. The creation process and role shaping of this work reflect the overlap between the role and the creator's life. The creation of"Evangelion"originated from the debt crisis, and the creation of the series from the TV version to the theater version lasted for 25 years. In order to meet the audience's expectations,AnnoHideaki had to suppress the externalization of his spirit and fall into the pain of labor alienation. With the support of his wife,he finally broke the barrier between his work and life, ending the series. The characters Shinji Ikari,Gendo Ikari,Rei Ayanami,Asuka,Nagisa Kaoru and Makashiba embody different aspects of Anno Hidea-ki's spiritual world respectively, reflecting his creative style of animation character creation and real life overlap.
