Foreign literature courses are one of the most important channels for Chinese students to learn about Western culture.Although the ideology of the western world and western cultural values permeate every literary work,this course is latent with many ele-ments of curriculum ideological education.Under the background of new liberal arts,teachers should combine the logical characteristics of the foreign literature subject with the teaching of course ideology and politics,consciously comparing,identifying and filtering ideolo-gies and cultural values,achieving the organic integration of professional knowledge transfer and learning,and then implementing the goals of value leadership and moral education.
