There are many different opinions about the origin of Mohism.Chuang Tzu,Xunzi and Han Feizi all believe that the source of Mohology can be traced back to the way of the ancient sages represented by Yao,Shun and Yu.Han Shu·Yi Wen Zhi thinks that Mohism originated from"keeping the temple of Qing Dynasty."Huainan Zi thinks that Mohism is"backing the Zhou Dao and fol-lowing the Xia Dynasty,"and Han Yu explains it with"the use of holes and Mohism."In essence,these viewpoints examine the origin of Mohism from different perspectives.
