Trade liberalization provides strong support for enterprise innovation,studying the impact of import heterogeneity on en-terprise innovation capability under the background of trade liberalization,and clarifying the driving mechanism of enterprise growth.Based on the analysis of the impact mechanism of import heterogeneity and trade liberalization on enterprise innovation capability,the innovation capability of enterprises is selected as the dependent variable,and import heterogeneity indicators such as import tariffs,im-port technology transformation degree,and import product quality are selected as explanatory variables.Indicators such as enterprise size,total asset return rate,and enterprise nature are set as control variables to construct an econometric model for enterprise innova-tion capability.Regression analysis shows that the technology spillover effect of trade liberalization can significantly enhance the innova-tion capability of enterprises;There are differences in the innovation capabilities of enterprises with different attributes,sizes,and types under the background of trade liberalization.The impact of import quality on enterprise innovation output is heterogeneous.With the aim of utilizing the background of trade liberalization,we aim to enhance the overall innovation capacity of the country and indus-try.
