Mao Zedong's concept of ecological governance,as the ideological crystallization of the early practice of the Communist Party of China in leading the construction of ecological civilization,originated from the scientific inheritance and rich development of Marxist ecological theory,rooted in the continuous inheritance and creation of China's excellent traditional ecological culture,and orig-inated from the rational concern and active response to the practical problems of ecological environment.Its core essence contains the essential core theory of the dialectical unity of man and nature,the people-centered behavior position theory,and the thinking method-ology of dialectical materialism,which brings together practical experience for realizing the modernization of harmonious coexistence be-tween man and nature in the new era,lays the ideological cornerstone for the construction of a theoretical system of ecological civiliza-tion with Chinese characteristics,and provides a method reference for promoting the institutionalized development of ecological civiliza-tion construction.
