Scottish writer Alissmith's"seasonal Quartet"novel reflects the writer's interest and literary proposition in boundary writing.Focusing on the divided state of the British society,breaking the linear time structure in the time boundary dimension,spatial time structure,explaining the importance of linking history with the present,analyzing the geographical boundary dimension,consider-ing the relationship between"self"and"other"in the gender boundary dimension,focusing on the gender view and gender mobility,crossing the boundary of gender boundary,and subverting the internal order of the patriarchal system.By exploring the connection be-tween boundary and the construction of national identity,and pointing out the internal plasticity of boundary,in order to realize the vi-sion of building a global community by strengthening dialogue and communication.
