On the Negative Position Expression of Adverb hezhe(合着)and Its Formation Mechanism
hezhe(合着)is a commonly used word in spoken Beijing dialect, and in recent years, there have been more and more use cases in modern Chinese. In oral conversation, hezhe often co-appears with interjections, adverbs, discourse marks and so on.In terms of location distribution, hezhe is often used to respond to the speech wheel, mainly in the beginning and middle of the speech wheel. In the speech round sequence,it is usually located in the response sequence, but generally does not appear in the initiator se-quence.The preceding sentence is usually an objective fact or opinion, the subsequent discourse of hezhe can be divided into four types:objective facts/the other party's thoughts, rhetorical negation, verification and inquiry, and subjective evaluation. The discourse function of hezhe can be summarized into two aspects:the function of discourse organization and the expression of negative position. The negative stance expression of hezhe is related to the semantic evolution of hezhe itself, the speaker's expectations, and contextual ab-sorption.
