A Probe into the Teaching Method of Chinese Circular Reading in Elementary School for 15 Years
Reading literacy is an important indicator to measure the national quality.Based on the reading status quo of"students can't grasp the main points,teachers'thinking cannot be expanded,and teachers and students'reading comprehension cannot go deep",the paper puts forward a teaching method of Chinese circular reading in the elementary school,namely"to find key points,to pulllines and to draw a circle"and solves three problems:how to determine the key points of teaching and learning of reading,how to establish a text reading mode and how to promote the integration of teachers and students to achieve the rapid improvement of reading literacy.Meanwhile,two major theoretical contributions are made in the paper:a new methodology to break through the bottleneck of thinking is proposed and a new pedagogy model to jump out of the besieged city of reading teaching and learning is constructed.Additionally,four practical strategies are refined.Firstly,the frame system of circular reading teaching is constructed.Secondly,the method of locating key points is offered,which shows that key points can be found among the research topic,key words,key sentences,thinking questions and unit texts.Thirdly,the method of pulling lines between repetitions,contradictions and changes in circular reading teaching is summed.Fourthly,the method of circle-drawing is improved,relying on oral description and reading extension.Thus,students'reading thinking can become clear,their reading literacy be promoted,structure teaching thinking be better,and teachers'teaching ability and school's comprehensive strength can be both significantly enhanced.All these result in the expansion of school's social influence.Ultimately,the reading by the whole people and their life long education are assisted and leveled.
