杜威是培养范式的典型案例吗?——对比斯塔的一个回应

摘要
在2022年出版的《世界中心教育》中,比斯塔把杜威视为培养范式的典型案例.他进而认为,培养范式的教育只要人适应环境,忽略了人拒绝对环境做调适的可能性.比斯塔的评论,构成了对于杜威教育理论的严厉批评.但是,在对比比斯塔与杜威的教育理论,尤其是在回顾杜威的环境概念以后可知,比斯塔和杜威在教育上有共同的反对对象,比斯塔对杜威的批评并不公允.
Abstract
In the World-centred Education published in 2022,Biesta regards Dewey as a paradigmatic case for cultivation paradigms.He further argues that cultivation paradigms only consider individuals adapting to the environment,overlooking the possibility of individuals refusing to adapt to the environment.Biesta's commentary constitutes a harsh criticism of Dewey's educational theory.However,upon comparing Biesta and Dewey's educational theories,especially after reviewing Dewey's concept of environment,it becomes clear that Biesta and Dewey share common targets of opposition in education,and Biesta's criticism of Dewey is not fair.
