Comparative Analysis of the Construction Characteristics of Local Cultural in Junior High School Science Textbooks in China
Based on literature analysis,this study developed analytical indicators to construct the characteristics of Local Culture in science textbooks.Three sets of representative local science textbooks from three significant periods in the past century of China were selected as the research subjects.Through text coding and simple statistical methods,a series of data were obtained.The findings elucidate the constituent elements,presentation methods,educational functions,and value orientations of Local Culture across various periods.This study offers valuable insights for the future compilation of Local Culture in science textbooks.
