Dynamic Model,Key Elements and Optimization Paths of Digital Textbook Compilation
Based on a comprehensive investigation of the key steps and essential contents in current digital textbook compilation practice, this study adheres to the fundamental process of textbook compilation. It combines the theoretical reflections and the projections on the future trends of digital textbook compilation to construct a dynamic model. The model clarifies five stages of digital textbook compilation:team formation, overall design, collaborative compilation with division of labor, revision and improvement, and final review. It also identifies critical elements such as content development, structural framework construction, functionality configuration, and interface design. On this foundation, the study proposes the optimization paths for digital textbook compilation:conducting the training for compilation teams to unify content development strategies;monitoring the usage patterns to streamline the structural framework of digital textbooks;intensifying technological development to realize the preset functionalities;and optimizing the interface designs based on the feedback from teachers and students'instructional needs.
