China has achieved rich achievements in the construction of physical education courses for elementary and middle school students. However, there is still room for improvement in fully protecting and realizing the rights of elementary and middle school students in physical education.Taking international human rights legal documents and conventions as clues, the protection of physical education rights for elementary and middle school students beyond borders generally requires clarifying the positive attributes of the right to physical education. This is achieved through the implementation of the rights of special groups such as children and disabled individuals. There is a clear consensus among countries on the protection mechanism of physical education rights for elementary and middle school students. On the one hand,it emphasizes the integrated protection and realization of the right to physical education, students'right to health, and development rights. On the other hand,it emphasizes the implementation of the"student-centered"requirement and promotes the diverse participation of social subjects.Compared to current practices in China, the international experience, while adhering to the stance of state-led protection of the rights of elementary and middle school students in physical education, actively constructs a rights protection mechanism through collaborative efforts between families, schools, and communities, known as the"home-school-community"cooperation.
