The Study on American Leveled Reading Research from the Perspective of Text Complexity
At present,the most widespread influence of leveled reading research is the American leveled reading framework system,which has many kinds and different grading dimensions.American English curriculum standard includes the theory of text complexity into the framework,and takes quantitative dimension,qualitative dimension and reader and task dimension as the three dimensions of text complexity analysis,which reflects the latest progress of leveled reading research.The three-dimension text complexity analysis framework also provides important inspiration for leveled reading research in China.We need to build a unified quantitative and qualitative evaluation standard for text difficulty,establish a text-reader-task integrated reading ability evaluation model,and build a hierarchical reading resource development system integrating both inside and outside of class.
