In order to help students master all the skills they need to survive and thrive in an increasingly complex and challenging world,the NPO"Let's Talk Science"has promoted STEM education in primary and secondary schools across Canada.The organization developed and published Canada 2067,which sets out the background,philosophy,goals and strategies for implementing STEM education.The key of STEM education is STEM curriculum development and implementation.To this end,the implementation of STEM education in various provinces in Canada emphasizes the concept of integrating science,technology,engineering and mathematics and other specific disciplines as the content basis,applying STEM-related concepts,processes and thinking to interdisciplinary topics as the learning paradigm,designing projects based on inquiry and experience to solve real world problems,and centering on big concepts,The development and implementation of STEM courses in the form of discipline integration practice,problem solving projects,based on cultural life situations and other strategies have achieved certain results,effectively promote the implementation of STEM education,which is worth studying and learning from.
