Based on the CINRAD/SC radar's data,products of the mesoscale numerical simulation and general weather data,the process of the cold and warm shear-line rainstorms on 20 Sept.2005 and 3 July 2006 in Linyi is analyzed.It is found that they have similar features of the radar echoes; they are mixed clouds with a length range greater than the width of the cloud,they have similar strength and slow moving speed.The dynamic characteristics are different in two different shear-line forms of the rainstorm.To the cold shear-line rainstorm,physical quantity field increases with height in a manner of inclining to north and it has obvious momentum,much higher upper-zone and deeper convective instability stratification.Storm water vapor transmission relies on the MLJ.And to the warm shear-line rainstorm,physical field increases with a high degree of vertical distribution.Storm water vapor transmission depends not only on the MLJ,but also on the LLJ.Because of the differences of physical field structure,the two radar echoes also have their own different characteristics.The cold-line's radar strong echo is in the south,but the warm-line's is in the intermediate.
