Analysis of climate spatial-temporal character of thunderstorm over Jiangsu Province
By using the observational data of thunderstorm days of sixty stations in Jiangsu Province from 1971 to 2000, the characteristics of the thunderstorms of Jiangsu are studied by means of empirical orthogonal function (EOF) method and the analysis of Morlet wavelet. The results show that the mean annual number of thunderstorm days in whole area of Jiangsu Province has a decreasing trend. The south thunderstorm days variable gradient is greater than the north variable gradient, based on this, the southeast and the northwest have opposite trend. The changing of thunderstorm days has a certain periods. The article helps understand thunderstorm of Jiangsu Province.
