A comparative analysis of surface solar radiation change and its influencing factors during past few decades over Tibetan Plateau and North China
The trend of total radiation change and it's influencing factors are significantly different in various regions. In this paper, the surface total solar radiation data from 1961 to 2016 with strict quality control and homogenization were used to analyze the trend of total radiation change over the Tibetan Plateau and North China, furthermore, the influencing factors on total radiation change by combining the cloud and Aerosol Optical Depth(AOD)data were studied. Results show that(1)the total radiation of both the Tibetan Plateau and North China shows a decreasing trend from 1961 to 2016.The trend of total radiation changes in the western and eastern regions of the Tibetan Plateau is opposite after 2008,while the total radiation over North China shows an increasing trend.(2)The decrease of total radiation in the western region of the Tibetan Plateau is mainly influenced by the change in clouds, while the decrease in low cloudiness and aerosols in the eastern region is an important reason for the increase in total radiation.(3)The change in total radiation in North China is more influenced by aerosols from 2006 to 2016.
