The Trends,Core Issues,and Prospects of International Translation Education Research——Quantitative Analysis of Literature Based on WOS Database
To reveal the core issues and research progress in the field of translation education in the international academic com-munity,this article conducts an empirical analysis of 573 relevant literature collected in the Web of Science database from 1993 to 2022,and draw a graph of hot keyword co-occurrence and keyword clustering by the Cite Space literature analysis tool,and combine the graph for analysis.The results show that hotspots mainly focus on translation teaching,college English,translation competence,machine translation,English translation,audio-visual translation,and flipped classroom.The research is divided into three stages,with different research focuses in different periods.The technological development represented by information technology and artificial intelligence has the most profound impact on translation education and teaching.
