The culture of ethnic minorities in Guangxi is an important part of Chinese culture.With the continuous promotion of Chinese culture's"going out"strategy,the importance of translation of ethnic minority culture's external promotion has become increasingly prominent.Vietnam is adjacent to Guangxi,so promoting Chinese culture,especially the culture of Guangxi's ethnic minorities is of great strategic significance to Vietnam.The ethnic minorities in Guangxi have profound cultural connotations and strong national characteristics.Translators face many challenges in the translation process.Based on this,a translation strategy of foreignization as the main approach and domestication as the auxiliary should be adopted in the Vietnamese translation of ethnic minority culture in Guangxi.Translation methods,such as transliteration+annotation,literal translation,free translation and free translation+annotation should be used,in order to provide some reference for the external promotion,translation,and dissemination of ethnic minority culture in Guangxi.
