Translation Education Practice in Universities from the Perspective of Cultural Communication
As a tool and medium for cultural exchange and dissemination, translation can help people from different languages and cultural backgrounds to effectively communicate and exchange ideas. The translation talents cultivated by translation education in universities have strong language and cross-cultural communication abilities. They can convey ideas, viewpoints and values from dif-ferent cultures through translation, promote cultural exchange and integration, and strengthen cultural mutual trust. The practice of translation education in universities systematizes and professionalizes cultural dissemination, while cultural dissemination provides di-rection and content for translation education practice in universities. The two are interrelated and mutually influential. However, there are a series of problems in the practice of translation education in universities at the same time, such as imbalanced training objectives, insufficiently scientific curriculum design and relatively weak teaching staff. In this regard,by proposing macro control measures,clar-ifying talent cultivation goals and curriculum reforms, enriching translation teaching content and team building, strengthening transla-tion teaching staff, technical empowerment, efficient talent cultivation, strengthening practice, and improving collaborative education mechanisms,we hope that translation education practices in universities can better adapt to the needs of the times and promote cul-tural dissemination.
