In order to understand the components of the essential oil of Michelia figo,its essential oils were obtained by steam distillation method,and the volatile components were analyzed and identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS),and the antioxidant,antibacterial and antifeedant activities of the essential oil were tested.The results showed that 48 compounds were identified in Michelia figo,and the total content was 93.20%.The main ingredients include:β-elemene,elemene B,elemenol,elemene,β-pinene,isobutylene,heptadecanetetraene,bicyclic elemene,etc.The antioxidant test shows that the essential oil of michelia has strong antioxidant activity,good antibacterial activity,and anti feeding activity against ABTs and DPPH free radicals.
