Low academic buoyancy students have difficulty in vocabulary learning and they have no perseverance to acquire vocabulary by reading a lot.Before properly conversed,keyword method,as an important direct learning method,may not be suitable for them.Chinese Pinyin and English are similar,so learners can select keywords from Pinyin,associate them with the target words,and then combine other methods to remember English words.69 students were randomly divided into two groups:a keyword method group and a control group in this study.The results showed that keyword method significantly promoted their words'learning.The keyword method to learn English vocabulary leverages learned knowledge and has a certain level of interest,which may be more suitable for students with low academic buoyancy,so it is recommended for them.
