New Progress and Direction in the Construction of a Modern Industrial System in the Central Region of the New Era
Establishing a modern industrial system supported by advanced manufacturing is the hard truth to achieve the comprehensive rise of the central region at a higher starting point in the new era.Currently,Anhui and Hubei,as typical representatives,have achieved significant results in driving industrial innovation through scientific and technological innovation,strengthening high-tech industrial cluster brands,and stimulating new momentum in the digital economy in the central region.The construction of a modern industrial system is being comprehensively promoted.However,constrained by multiple factors such as endogeneity,externality,structure,and periodicity,the overall industrial competitiveness of the central region is not as strong as that of the eastern region,and the explosive growth is not as strong as that of the western region.It is currently in a"difficult transition period"where the new and old driving forces of industries are deeply transformed,and the effectiveness of adjustments needs to be demonstrated over time.We should deeply analyze our own problems and external situations,and focus on accelerating the development of new quality productive forces,consolidating the foundation of advanced manufacturing industry,filling the gap in market-oriented business environment,optimizing the regional industrial division of labor system,and building new advantages of inland opening up.
