Bonded zones(BZs)and export processing zones(EPZs)are not only spatial carriers for industrial development policies, but also the key to drive the green transformation of regional industry.Based on the provincial panel data from 2004 to 2022,this paper uses the two-way fixed effect model to analyze the impact of BZs and EPZs on regional industrial green transformation and their mechanisms. The results show that the industrial agglomeration effect,FDI technology spillover effect and institutional spillover effect of BZs promote regional industrial green transformation, and the industrial agglomeration effect of EPZs also promotes regional industrial green transformation;there are obvious regional and temporal heterogeneity in the influence of BZs on the regional industrial green transformation;the linkage effect of the development strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt amplifies the impact of BZs and EPZs on the green transformation of regional industry;there is an obvious synergistic effect of BZs and EPZs on regional industrial green transformation.Local governments should cultivate industry clusters in BZs and EPZs,promote industrial transformation and give play to a leading role in technological innovation.
