Industrial security is the foundation of industrial development,and the lack of strong core autonomy makes some industries in China face the problem of"bottleneck".Strengthening source innovation is the fundamental solution to industrial security.After selecting electronic information and communication equipment manufacturing as a typical industry and using the panel data of 30 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities in China(excluding Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and Tibet)to establish a threshold model and a moderating effect model,it is found that source innovation has a positive impact on shaping a safe industrial chain development environment,and its influence is much higher than that of application innovation.Whether it is source innovation or application innovation,there is an inhibitory effect on the security of the industrial chain in the range of low variable value,and when the value exceeds the threshold value,it will be transformed into a promotion effect.In the process of promoting industrial chain security through source innovation,the government has played an important regulatory role.Government financial support for the training of scientific and technological talents,the development of science and technology industry,the promotion of scientific research projects and the construction of scientific research platforms all help to further strengthen the positive role of source innovation on the security of industrial chain,and the regulatory effect is gradually increasing.It is proposed to reshape the relationship between the government and the market,enrich the support mode of source innovation,and improve the source allocation efficiency of resource innovation,in order to realize the construction of safety industrial chain through source innovation.
