Study on the Contribution Rate of Preferential Flows for Soil Phosphorus Vertical Movement
In this study, Brilliant blue was used as the dye tracer to identify the preferential path and distribu- tion in two soil with different P contents. Total P content in the dyed, non - dyed and mixed soil samples were de- termined and vertical distribution was analyzed. The results showed that preferential path present obviously below the 20cm layer. The concentrations of P were significant higher in dyed component than in non - dyed component, and a inverse ratio was appeared between the difference and soil P content. The contribution rate of preferential flows in surface soil was relatively low, but this value in 15 -45cm layers was in the range of 20 -70% increasing with the decrease of P content.
