Literati group of six men following Su Shi is a very meaningful phenomenon in the Northern Song Dy-nasty literary world.Although their experiences are similar or different,it does not affect them to gather around Su Shi,admire Han Yu and follow Su Shi,accept the influence of Ouyang Xiu and Su Shi's prose paradigm.Their style of prose is generally natural and plain.From the perspective of literary style,their argumentation often cares about the country and pursues to be practical,clear and reasonable;their letters and prefaces use narrative to conclude argumenta-tion or have both narrative and argumentation,so read smoothly and naturally;narrative has the characteristic of reason-ing,but because the content is about life it is detached and interesting.The prose style created by literati group of six men following Su Shi,although overshadowed by Su Shi's brilliant prose,still has its own glory in the history of an-cient prose.
