Theoretical Construction and Academic Reflection of Contemporary Chinese Marine Literature Creation
Since the concept of marine literature entered the Chinese context,there have been difficulties in defin-ing it.In the study of contemporary Chinese marine literature,theoretical construction attempting to accurately define it has been constantly in progress.It is difficult to reach a consensus on the definition of marine literature,yet it has be-come an issue that cannot be bypassed in disciplinary research.The academic community's insistence on defining marine literature highlights researchers'intention to standardize the writing of marine literature and also reflects their pursuit of establishing the legitimacy of disciplinary research.Reflecting on the process of constructing the concept of marine litera-ture,we can see the richness and complexity of marine literature writing behind the definition dilemma.Marine character-istics and literariness are the basic features of marine literature,and the emphasis on marine characteristics in contempo-rary Chinese marine literature research highlights the national perspective of marine literature.For the creation of contem-porary Chinese marine literature,the lack of systematic theories and classic works as references is a practical difficulty,but it also endows literary creation with greater openness and possibilities.
