链条总成的失效分析

摘要
一刮板输送机的链条总成在使用的早期断裂.为查明其断裂的原因,对断裂的链条总成进行了断口分析、金相检验和化学成分分析.结果表明:链条总成的销轴有严重的B类非金属夹杂物和带状铁素体,因而力学性能较差,发生疲劳断裂;销轴疲劳断裂导致链板因拉伸应力失稳而断裂.
Abstract
The chain assembly of a scraper conveyor broken in early stage of service.In order to find out the cause of its fracturing,the fracture test,metallographic examination,and chemical composition analysis were carried out on the broken chain assembly.The results showed that(a)the wrist of the chain assembly exhibited severe both class B nonmetallic inclusions and banded ferrite thereby had more poor mechanical properties and fatigue broke;and(b)the fatigue failure of the wrist resulted in breakdown of the chain plates because of Instability of tensile stress.
