Chemical Composition and Antibacterial Activity of the Essential Oils from Dalbergia odorifera T.Chen
Chemical constituents and their contents of the essential oils from the flower of Dalbergia odorifera T. Chen were examined by GC-MS and then the anti-microbial activities of the essential oils to Fusarium oxysporum f. Sp. Cubense were tested. Quantitative determination was conducted using area normalization method. There were 17 chemical constituents identified in the essential oils. The major ones of the constituents were alkanes (53.33%), Dibutyl phthalate (14.02%)、 1, 2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, diisooctyl ester (4.37%), 9,12-Octadecadienoic acid (14.00%), a-Amyrin (8.37%), 1, 30-Triacontanediol (2.57%), 1-Octacosanol (1.45%). The essential oils exhibited antimicrobial activities against Fusarium oxysporum f. Sp. Cubense. Variance analysis suggested that there was a significant difference of antimicrobial activity between essential oisl and difenoconazole at the beginning after treatment After 7 days, there was no significant difference in antimicrobial activity against Fusarium oxysporum £ sp. Cubense.
