Genetic Diversity Analysis of the Major Ornamental Morphological Characters for Anthurium andraeanum
Twenty-nine phenotypic characters of 64 A nthurium andraeanum accesions were analyzed to determine the main ornamental morphological characters. Results showed that the genetic diversity index of the 7 qualitative characters had a larger amplitude from 0.189 2 to 1.694 1,while the 22 quantitative characters was from 1.569 6 to 2.050 3,and the variable coefficient was greater than 10%,which showed that there was a high diversity level on the morphology in A.andraeanum.Correlation analysis showed that different phenotypic characters had some relations between them, and most of them were highly significant.Eight principal components were obtained by principal component analysis, and their accumulative contribution rate was up to 80.584%,including leaf length, leaf width, spathe length, spathe width, pedicel length, petiole length, included angle between spathe and pedicel, spathe tip angle, ratio of pedicel and petiole, spadix color and so on,and all of them were the main factors leading phenotypic difference between different germplasms.Sixty-four different germplasms were clustered into 6 groups based on clustering method, and the size, shape, color, and origin were the main classification standard. The results would lay the foundation for the effective use of genetic diversity studies on A.andraeanum crossbreeding.
