Recent Advance in Structure Safety Performance Testing Technology of Building Adhesive
An overview of the classification of building adhesives, the properties of silicone structural sealant and the testing standards were presented. The major safety performance specifications of silicone structural sealant were suggested with the silicone structural sealant bonded mechanism, and the common quality problems in the silicone structural sealant were pointed out. It was proposed that non-destructive testing methods for the structural sealant components should be established and explored.
