Cracks are common defects in the production and processing of titanium alloys.According to the crack defects of TC10 titanium alloy bars in production, the morphology, structure and performance of crack defects were studied through OM,SEM,EBSD and Vickers hardness tests, and the causes of cracks were analyzed. The results show that there are no obvious metallurgical defects in the microstructure of the crack area, the grains are mainly fuzzy and semi-fuzzy,and there is no delamination structure and fine crystal bright bands, and the high-power structure is the same as the normal area, and the number of primary α phases in the normal region is basically the same, the metallographic structure of the matrix on both sides of the crack is normal. The elements of V and Cu in the crack area are low,and the content of O is slightly higher. The contents of the close-packed hexagonal phase and the body-centered cubic phase are 48.33%and 0.5%,respectively,which are lower than the normal area. The hardness value in the crack area is 374 HV,which is about 30 HV lower than the normal area. After analysis,it is concluded that the crack is quenched crack.
