Study on Influence Factors of Lightning Damage on Skin of Composites Passenger Aircraft
ANSYS simulation software was used to simulate the temperature distribution of each layer after the impact of lightning current on the skin composite laminates of passenger aircraft, and then the damage situation was explored, the simulation results were compared with the actual impact test. The results show that increasing the latent heat of phase change can reduce the damage caused by lightning strike. The higher the density of the skin, the more resistant the skin to ablation. The higher the specific heat capacity, the more resistant the skin to ablation. The lower the skin conductivity, the more severe the ablation, increasing the conductivity in the direction of skin thickness can reduce the ablation degree. The simulation results can be used as a reference for the development of aircraft skin material and the protection of aircraft lightning strike.
