Forming Performance of GH4169 Ni-based Superalloy Weld Produced by Laser Oscillating Welding
The laser oscillating welding process tests of GH4169 Ni-based superalloy were carried out,and the effects of different oscillating parameters on the porosity,macro-forming,microstructure and microhardness of the welds were studied. The results show that the oscillating process with low frequency and small amplitude is beneficial to the inhibition of porosity, while the inhibition of porosity is more significant under large oscillating amplitude. After the introduction of oscillation, the weld penetration decreases, especially with the increase of amplitude.under the amplitude of 2.5 mm,the keyhole welding mode disappears, and the growth direction of the weld changes.Compared with the non-oscillation,the grain size of the welds doesn't change obviously under different oscillating parameters, however, the secondary dendrites of the oscillating welds are refined to a certain extent, which results in slight rise of the average hardness of the oscillating welds.
