Analysis on Bending Properties of Polymer-Reinforced Bimetallic Composite Pipe
In order to explore the bending resistance and bulging resistance of polymer reinforced bimetallic composite pipe, the composite pipe with specification of φ508 mm×(14.3+3)mm was taken as research object, the anti-bulging performance of the mechanical composite pipe and polymer reinforced bimetallic composite pipe was compared through simulation analysis. And it was verified through a four-point bending test. The results show that the simulation and experimental results are consistent. The deviation between the simulation value and the experimental value of the polymer reinforced composite pipe is only 0.4 m,and the simulation calculation results are reliable. The results show that the absolute maximum strain of the polymer reinforced composite pipe is 2.56 times of that of the mechanical composite pipe, and the bending radius is 0.39 times of that of the mechanical composite pipe. The bending resistance of the polymer reinforced bimetallic composite pipe is stronger than that of the mechanical composite pipe, and the performance is more superior, which has more advantages in the process of offshore oil development.
