Effect of Pouring Process on Composite Quality of Bimetallic Planetary Gear Bearing
The surface of a planetary gear bearing was poured with ZSnSb11Cu6 tin-based alloy using different casting process parameters.Through magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic inspection and bonding strength testing, the effects of different casting molds and different alloy pouring temperatures on the composite quality of the bimetallic planetary gear bearing were investigated. The results show that using metal mold and alloy pouring temperature of 430℃can achieve better alloy surface quality and bonding strength than using sand mold and pouring at 420℃and 450℃.The stability of the process is confirmed through subsequent process verification and small-scale production trials.
