Effect of Controlled Rolling and Controlled Cooling Process on Characteristics and Peel-off Property of Oxide Scale of Q235B Hot Rolled H-beam
The laboratory simulation rolling and bending straightening tests were carried out for the Q235B hot-rolled billet.Combined with SEM,XRD and other experimental methods, the effect of controlled rolling and controlled cooling process parameters on the characteristics of scale and peelability of Q235B hot-rolled H-beam steel was studied. The results show that under the same conditions of other rolling process parameters, with the increase of finishing temperature, the thickness of iron oxide scale increases, the ratio of FeO increases, and the ratio of Fe3O4 decreases. With the increase of the cooling rate, the thickness of the oxide scale decreases, the FeO phase ratio increases, and the Fe3O4 phase ratio decreases. With the increase of the Fe3O4 ratio, the FeO ratio decreases, and the oxide scale transits from bulk peeling to small-block peeling and then to fine powder-like peeling.
